🌍 World Earth Day: accelerating the transition of our agricultural sectors

We are convinced that agro-ecology is a concrete response to environmental challenges, making it possible to reconcile agricultural performance, respect for the soil and preservation of biodiversity. We are committed to this approach.

Historically rooted in the Occitanie region of France, we have always worked as closely as possible with the region’s farming communities. Today, 60% of our ingredients are grown in France, three-quarters of them less than 300 km from our industrial sites.

With our partners, cooperatives and farmers, we have structured and deployed agro-ecological organic soybean and wheat chains.
By 2025, they already represented:
– 750 tonnes of wheat (115 ha, in collaboration with 4 farmers)
– 600 tonnes of organic French soybeans (200 ha, in collaboration with 18 farmers)

🍃 A new stage initiated 1 year ago: the sugar chain
We are also committed to the agroecological transition for sugar.

In 2025, we contracted our first sugar purchases from agroecologically grown beet.

The transition is already underway with some 30 hectares of sugar beet – the equivalent of 42 soccer pitches – managed in collaboration with Cristalco – a member of Pour une Agriculture du Vivant and the COVAL’HAUT DE FRANCE coalition.

🤝 These achievements are the result of collective work and commitment of farmers, cooperatives and field teams.

🌍 On this Earth Day, we reaffirm our commitment: to continue, step by step, the transformation of our supply chains for a more sustainable food supply.
