Our “Objectif Terre” program, for living soils

N&S supports its farming partners of the CRC* (Culture Raisonnée Contrôlée = Reasoned Controlled Culture) wheat partnerships, in the conversion to Soil Conservation Agriculture.

An ambitious approach to sustainably improve soil fertility on their farms, cope with climatic hazards (drought, bad weather, …) and significantly reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for tomorrow and for future generations.

The soil conservation techniques enables soil regeneration, the recovery of biodiversity on farms, but also to cope with wind and water erosion.

This agriculture is based on 3 pillars:

  • Permanent soil cover
  • Direct seeding
  • Stop ploughing

The « Objectif terre program » provides technical support for volunteers and bonuses linked to the actions carried out and the results obtained. To date, about 25 partner farms are involved in this conversion process.
